China imposed 25% duty on aluminium scrap imports from the US and classified aluminium scrap in restricted import list from July 2019.
Arguing that growing imports of scrap is threatening the primary aluminium industry, an umbrella industry body has urged the finance minister to raise basic customs duty on aluminium scrap to 10% from 2.5% now.
In a memorandum, Aluminium Association of India (AAI) said the duty increase will encourage the recycling of domestic scrap and restrict its growing imports. The share of scrap in total imports of aluminium increased from 52% in FY16 to 66% in FY21, resulting in around Rs 15,000 crore worth forex outgo. India imported a little more than 2 million tonne aluminium last fiscal.
“Currently custom duty on primary aluminium is 7.5% and aluminium scrap is only 2.5%. This is the reason why despite having a significant presence of primary aluminium capacity and potential to generate sufficient domestic scrap, India’s consumption of scrap is 100% import-dependent. The way forward is to increase custom duty on aluminium scrap from 2.5% to 10%,” it said.
AAI said China’s renewed measures to restrict scrap imports are leading to a greater inflow of scrap into India.
China imposed 25% duty on aluminium scrap imports from the US and classified aluminium scrap in restricted import list from July 2019, with plans to completely ban all scrap and waste imports.
“Post that the share of import from the US in China’s total aluminium scrap imports has declined from 53% in 2017 to just 16% in 2019. India has overtaken China as world’s largest aluminium scrap importer due to the Chinese measures,” it said.
As a result, the entire global scrap chain is shifted to India in the absence of any quality or BIS standards for scrap recycling, usage and imports in the country. The US is diverting large volume of scrap to India, since the European Union and other developed countries have stringent standards for scrap. The import from the US as share of India’s total scrap imports increased from 8% in FY16 to 24% in FY21.

Been playing here since the spring, so I have enough sessions behind me to judge. Found it through a mate, because I wanted somewhere that actually pays out on time. The game library at True Fortune is genuinely big, though honestly I rotate between maybe twenty games.
The providers are the familiar ones: Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, with Nolimit City and Hacksaw in the mix. The obvious hits are all present, though personally I prefer the higher volatility stuff. The live section is Evolution, so Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette and the rest of the game shows. English speaking dealers around the clock, though the low stake blackjack seats fill up in the evening.
The starting package is fairly standard: 100% up to ?500 with 200 free spins, released in daily portions. Rollover is 35 times the bonus, which is about average these days. Up to date bonus terms are worth checking on true fortune before you deposit. There is a small no deposit thing that appears now and then, but the amounts are token.
Signing up was quick, the deposit floor is around ?10. I fund it by card or Skrill, and crypto is there too if that is your thing. Money reached the wallet within a day, card payouts took two or three working days. The document check was the only hassle – they bounced my first utility bill for being out of date, but the second attempt cleared the same evening.
Mobile is browser based for me and it does the job fine. Performance is smooth, but streaming tables want a solid connection. Support answers in English on chat and it reads like a person, not a script, response was quick enough. Licence is Curacao which is not the UK regulator, so play accordingly. Bottom line, cashouts have been honoured so far.

I have been using this casino since the spring, so the honeymoon phase is long over. A friend from another forum pointed me at it, because I was tired of sites that sit on payouts for a week. The game library at True Fortune is genuinely big, even if I only really play a handful of them.
The providers are the familiar ones: Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, with Nolimit City and Hacksaw in the mix. Sweet Bonanza and Book of Dead sit at the top of the list, though personally I prefer the higher volatility stuff. Live tables come from Evolution, meaning Crazy Time, blackjack and all the wheel formats. Tables are staffed day and night, but evenings get busy on the cheaper tables.
The welcome offer is nothing extraordinary but fair: 100% up to ?500 with 200 free spins, released in daily portions. Rollover is 35 times the bonus, which is about average these days. Up to date bonus terms can be found at true fortune before you deposit. A minor no deposit bonus shows up occasionally, but the amounts are token.
Signing up was quick, the deposit floor is around ?10. Visa, Mastercard and the usual wallets are accepted, Bitcoin is an option as well. Withdrawals landed in 12 to 24 hours on the e-wallet, card withdrawals were slower, as always. Verification was the only annoyance – my first upload got rejected, though it went through on the second go.
I play from the phone through the browser and I have not missed having an app. It loads quickly, though live tables need decent data. The chat team is English speaking and it reads like a person, not a script, response was quick enough. Licence is Curacao so it is not UKGC and you should know that going in. Bottom line, cashouts have been honoured so far.

Tutaj to wyglada inaczej – cotygodniowy cashback leci regularnie, u mnie wychodzilo miedzy 5 a 10 procent.
Biblioteka automatow jest naprawde obszerny, chociaz wracam do tych samych kilku. Gry dostarczaja Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Hacksaw i Betsoft, a wiec nazwiska z pierwszej ligi.
Polecam tez turnieje slotowe, czasem gra sie o naprawde sensowna kase.
Minimalna wplata to 40 zl, najczesciej wrzucam Blikiem, do wyboru sa karty, e-portfele i krypto.

Niezle wygladaja cotygodniowe turnieje, czasem gra sie o naprawde sensowna kase.
