NEW DELHI: Highlighting how a large share of municipal waste can be prevented from getting dumped at landfills by recycling them, a report prepared by the housing and urban development ministry has recommended a complete ban on the disposal of recyclables at such sites. It has also recommended state pollution control boards and urban development and industry departments introduce a tax for the dumping of all municipal waste in landfills
The report comes at a time when cities are struggling to get rid of mountains of municipal wastes, including the three such big legacy dumpsites in Delhi. Cities are also finding it difficult to find new landfill sites.
The report titled 'Circular Economy in Municipal Solid and Liquid Waste' said: "Disposing of recyclables in landfills/dumpsites not only leads to loss of valued resources but also causes environmental pollution." It has also recommended that the government reduce the GST and other taxes on products made from recycled materials to 5% to encourage the recycling of waste.
The report prepared by experts from the IITs reputed research institutes, and government entities gain importance as a large share of untreated and unprocessed municipal wastes reach dump yards or get into water bodies and pose a major crisis amid a spurt in urbanization with little planning to tackle such challenges.
It has been estimated that proper treatment of municipal solid, wet, and construction wastes can generate nearly Rs 30,000 crore revenue per annum and create employment opportunities for more than one crore people by 2025. Currently, India generates approximately 1.4 lakh tonnes of solid waste daily and 35% of this is dry waste. A major share of dry waste is plastic. The report says that approximately 26,000 tonnes of plastic waste is generated daily and out of these only 15,600 tonnes are recycled. Around 9,400 tonnes are left uncollected and these go to the landfills or water bodies.
The report has estimated that material recycling facilities can help improve recovery from the current Rs 5,187 crore per annum from dry municipal waste to Rs 17,023 crore by 2025.

So I’ve been playing on Craybet for roughly six weeks or so and figured I’d share what I think because there’s not a ton of talk about it in this forum. Signed up randomly one night and the whole process took maybe a couple minutes. Starting deposit was $10 which is about what you’d expect. They threw in a welcome bonus — 100% up to $500 and fifty free spins on Sweet Bonanza. Wagering was 35x which could be lower but not the worst I’ve seen.
The game library is bigger than I expected. They’ve got stuff from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, plus Microgaming — meaning Book of Dead, Gonzo’s Quest, that kind of thing. Somewhere around 1500-2000 slots when you add it all up. Live dealer stuff runs on Evolution which is legit — tried roulette and Lightning Roulette with actual croupiers and zero lag issues.
Now the one thing that annoyed me a little was withdrawal times. Withdrew via Skrill and waited almost two days for my first withdrawal. Second time around it dropped to like 24 hours. They accept Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, and BTC which covers pretty much everything you’d want. You can look at their current offers at Craybet payout before you sign up.
Mobile experience on Craybet on mobile is actually smooth. No dedicated app though the mobile site loads fast and slots and live games work without issues. Played Book of Dead on my commute and no performance issues.
Customer service on Craybet has been decent — there’s a chat widget and someone actually responds in under five minutes when I’ve used it. Reached out once about a pending withdrawal and it was resolved same day. Licensing is Curacao-based from what I can tell which is what most platforms like this. Not everything is amazing — promo codes seem rare — but overall I keep coming back.

Been using Craybet for about six weeks or so and wanted to share some thoughts since there isn’t much discussion about it on here. Signed up randomly one night and signing up was like two minutes. Starting deposit was $10 which is normal for US-facing sites. I grabbed a sign-up bonus — matched my first deposit 100% up to 500 plus 50 free spins on Gates of Olympus. Playthrough requirements were 35 times the bonus which isn’t amazing but I’ve dealt with worse.
Their slots catalog is decent honestly. They’ve got stuff from Pragmatic Play, Evolution, plus Big Time Gaming — meaning Book of Dead, Starburst, that kind of thing. Probably close to 1500-2000 slots total if you count everything. The live dealer section uses Evolution which is quality — tried baccarat and Crazy Time with real dealers and it worked great.
Now the one thing that kinda bugged me was how long cashouts take. Tried cashing out with Skrill and it took almost two days the first time. After that though it was faster. You can use Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Bitcoin which is most bases. I’d look at what they’ve got going on at Craybet review if you’re interested.
Mobile experience on Craybet on mobile worked better than expected. No dedicated app — the browser version loads fast and everything works without issues. Was playing some slots on the bus and no problems.
Customer service on Craybet has been alright — live chat that actually connects pretty quick usually. Had to ask about a pending withdrawal and it was resolved within hours. Licensing is Curacao licensed which is typical of US-friendly sites. It’s not flawless — wish they had more payment options — but overall I keep coming back.

Been playing on Craybet for roughly two months now and wanted to share some thoughts since I haven’t seen much discussion about it in this forum. Signed up after seeing an ad and signing up literally took a couple minutes. Starting deposit was $10 and that’s normal for US-facing sites. Got a welcome bonus — matched my first deposit 100% up to 500 plus 50 free spins on Gates of Olympus. Rollover is 35x which could be lower but I’ve dealt with worse.
The game library is decent honestly. They’ve got games from Pragmatic Play, Betsoft, plus Play’n GO — meaning Book of Dead, Gonzo’s Quest, that kind of thing. Probably close to a couple thousand titles when you add it all up. The live dealer section is powered by Evolution which is quality — tried blackjack and Crazy Time with actual croupiers and had no complaints.
One thing that kinda bugged me was withdrawal times. Withdrew via Visa and waited about 48 hours the first time. Second time around it dropped to like 24 hours. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller, and crypto so that covers most bases. I’d look at what they’ve got going on at Craybet to see for yourself.
Using Craybet on mobile worked better than expected. There’s no app to download — the web app runs well and all the games load no problem. Was playing some slots on my commute and had zero lag or glitches.

Reached out once about a pending withdrawal and it was resolved within hours. Licensing is operating under a Curacao license which is what most US-friendly sites. Wouldn’t say it’s perfect — the bonus wagering could be lower — but as a daily player I’m still using it.

Their slots catalog is honestly pretty solid. You’ll find titles from Pragmatic Play, Betsoft, plus Play’n GO — so like Gates of Olympus, Starburst, the usual heavy hitters. Mobile experience on Craybet from my iPhone was surprisingly good. There’s no app to download — the browser version is responsive and all the games load fine. Played some slots on my commute and had zero problems.
