Slip Masterbatches are used to reduce friction between polymers and processing equipment and between polymer-to-polymer interfaces, providing slip effect and anti-block performance.In Moulding applications, slip agents also work as mould-releasing agents and plate-removing agents.
There are two types of Slip masterbatches:
* Long-term Slip Agent – used if printing or sealing is carried out directly after processing the film or if high processing temperatures are required
* Short-term Slip Agent – used on very thin films and as mould releasing agents
